Sentara Cardiology Specialists - Interventional Cardiology
Dr. Robertson is an experienced cardiologist with a special interest in interventional cardiology, a branch of cardiology that deals specifically with the catheter-based treatment of coronary artery disease. His interests also include nuclear cardiology, which involves the use of imaging processes and radioactive substances to diagnose heart disease, in addition to transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and cardiac ultrasound techniques used to image the heart in two-dimensions. Dr. Robertson is currently chairman of the Sentara Best Practices Committee and assistant professor of internal medicine and cardiology at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
