As a cardiac electrophysiologist, Dr. Gentlesk specializes in the electrical system of the heart and the cause and treatment of irregular heartbeats. His area of expertise include catheter ablation of arrhythmias, such as atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, left atrial appendage occlusion with watchman, and all facets of cardiac device management. He is an associate professor of clinical internal medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
