Dr. Snyders earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, in 1982 after receiving his bachelor's degree from Princeton University. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin in 1985,where he also served as chief resident in his last year. Dr. Snyders has several years' experiencein providing health care to children as they develop from birth to early adulthood. He holds a particularinterest in pediatric urinary problems andgeneral pediatrics. Dr. Snyders is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a pastpresident of the Tidewater Pediatric Society. He also serves on the Virginia Beach School Health Advisory Board, the Virginia Maternal Child Health Council, the Princeton Alumni School Committee. Heis an interviewer for Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Snyders lives in Virginia Beach with his wife and children. He volunteers at the Beach Health Clinic and enjoys water sports and gardening.
