In an emergency, quick access to skilled care makes all the difference. That's why Sentara offers access to emergency services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We treat our emergency department patients in order of priority, based upon our triage assessment when we meet you.
At Sentara RMH Medical Center, some patients are treated in the main emergency department, while those with less serious issues may be seen in a separate area called Focus Care. All patients are seen in order of medical priority.
When arriving at the Sentara RMH for emergency care, park in Lot E. View local directions to the hospital, as well as a campus map and parking.
If possible, please bring with you:
1. Photo ID
2. List of all current medications
3. Insurance information (if applicable)
