Sentara Healthcare offers three outstanding PGY1 Pharmacy residency programs throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia along with a PGY2 Informatics residency program based in Virginia Beach, VA. Our programs are ASHP-accredited, 12-month residencies in an integrated healthcare facility, designed to expand knowledge base and expertise in the provision of pharmaceutical care. Our PGY1 programs are located in Norfolk (Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, established 2000), Charlottesville (Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, established 2007), and Harrisonburg (Sentara RMH Medical Center, established 2008).
