Dr. Ramon DeJesus is the Chief of the Plastic Surgery Department at Sentara Medical Group. He has a wide training that facilitates complex reconstructions for Oncological, Trauma, and Congenital conditions. Dr. DeJesus completed a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Johns Hopkins/University of Maryland and a Hand/Microsurgery Fellowship at UCSF/The Buncke Clinic. He also completed a Peripheral Nerve Surgery Fellowship at The Dellon Institute in Baltimore, MD, a surgical anatomy fellowship at the University of Louisville, a Surgical Internship at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital, and a General Surgery Residency at Wellspan/York Hospital. Dr. DeJesus continues to be part-time faculty at Johns Hopkins University. He also serves as a reservist at the USN Medical Corps where he performs surgery for service members and their families at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and National Military Center Portsmouth.
